Under the direction of the Library Manager or Engagement Manager, the Youth Engagement Specialist II works with staff to support the Library’s strategic goals and initiatives by assisting members and providing relevant and timely programs and services for children ages birth to 18, both inside and outside the library.

This position will be assigned to the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library at 300 Park Ave., Oklahoma City, OK  73102.  The Ronald J. Norick Library is named after former Mayor Ron Norick.  Norick was a visionary and the champion of the "MAPS" project which voters passed to provide funding for nine new building projects in the downtown area.  The library opened in 2004 in the new four-story, 114,130 square foot facility.
