Forsyth Library, Fort Hays State University (FHSU) seeks a creative and service-oriented colleague to collect, organize, and maintain control over a wide range of primary sources in many formats documenting the people, research, and history of the university.  The University Archivist develops and recommends policy and implements procedures for collecting, organizing and making accessible university documents, collections, records and artifacts using contemporary technologies and traditional archival methods.  This is a 12-month non-tenure-track faculty position with an appointment expected at the rank of Librarian I or II, a salary dependent on experience and qualifications, and an anticipated start date is July 17, 2017.  Review of applications will begin on May 31, 2017 and continue until position is filled.
