Kansas is continuing its tradition of running a coach bus to the ARSL conference. This year's ARSL conference is in Omaha, Nebraska, September 25-28, 2013. This year's bus route is expanded to include the MPLA conference in Sioux Falls, September 25-27, 2013. Here is a link to the announcement, pickup schedule, and registration information for the bus: http://db.tt/EeVfnbjH We invite librarians from surrounding states, e.g., Oklahoma, Colorado, to join us on the bus. The price for riding is the same for our out-of-state sibling librarians, but we must reserve seats for Kansas librarians first. (24 April 2013)The Academic, Health Sciences, & Special Libraries Section of the SDLA will sponsor a poster session at this year's Tri-Conference. The poster session will be held concurrently with the no-host social event on Thursday evening September 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Poster proposals are welcome from anyone with ideas to share, from all types of libraries. The conference is regional this year, so you’ll have a big audience to share with! (03 April 2013)
